Kedrian Deavonni Perry-Marshall violently kicked a person into the pit at the MBTA State Street Station in Boston at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 and then stabbed a 27-year-old man at an apartment complex on Myrtle Avenue in Whitman at approximately 8:15 p.m., according to MBTA Transit Police and the Whitman Police Department.
Perry-Marshall's first victim was not injured, but his second received multiple stab wounds to the head and upper body and was taken to a nearby hospital. The second victim is expected to recover.
MBTA police arrested Perry-Marshall on Wednesday, March 29 around 4:00 p.m. on an attempted murder charge. Whitman police identified him as the stabbing suspect and issued an arrest warrant charging Perry-Marshall with attempted murder.
Whitman police identified the suspect using surveillance videos and photos and shared the materials with other officials, including MBTA police.
Perry-Marshall will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for the MBTA police's charge before being arraigned in Brockton District Court for the Whitman charge at a yet-to-be-determined date.
Perry-Marshall has connections to the Whitman area, but the circumstances around the stabbing are still under investigation.
